I began painting in 1990. I had been doing free lance carpentry jobs and for some reason unknown to me, I was collecting small pieces of lumber from the jobs and the demolition sites. When the opportunity came for me to paint it seemed rather obvious why I had been collecting this wood. To this day I still 'find' wood and paint on it.
