These works are a continuation of the exploration that I began in 2000.
These works are constructions made up of painted pieces of wood glued and "bisquited" together.The lumber is often "found" material, all the pieces are painted before the picture is put together.I think the pieces in realtime have a presence somewhat like a quilt as they are'nt strictly flat and the fact that they are composed from many smaller pieces is very evident. Never the less, I think of them as paintings.
